CE Hours Required: 16 hours each year; a total of 32 hours per biennium (*Must complete 16 hours per year)
Online Hours Accepted: 10 hours per year; 20 hours per biennium (live course hours are not considered online)
Renewal Period: By the 1st day of the doctor’s birth month, on even numbered years.
Note: Live interactive webinars and teleseminars are considered live events and can be used to complete all hours.
Specific Rules: 4 TBCE hours required annually that must consist of 1 hour in risk management; 3 hours including ethics, record keeping, documentation and coding (must be taken in a live format); one-time 8-hour Medicare course required (must be taken live). The Medicare hours count as 8 hours towards the 16 hours of required CE. Eight (8) hours of acupuncture every 2 years, if you have the acupuncture certificate. These hours can be taken online and count as 8 hours towards the 16 hours/year or 32 hours/biennium.

First Time Renewal Bundle
Chiropractic Physician Assistants licensed within the biennium and renewing a license for the first time are required to complete two (2) hours of medical errors and three (3) hours of HIV/AIDS
Certified Chiropractic Physician Assistant
This course includes the required hours for Certified Chiropractic Physician Assistants (CCPA). Includes the 2 required hours for Medical Errors and 22 general hours.
