Performing Impairment Ratings In Personal Injury is an 8 hour online course that delves into the performance of impairment ratings on personal injury patients in accordance to the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 5th Edition.

The course explains in detail how to perform and report permanent impairments to the spine, extremities, central and peripheral nervous system.

The course also explains how to properly code and bill for these services.

The course is taught by John Schmidt, DC.  Dr. Schmidt is a former Designated Doctor in the state of Texas and has been teaching courses to Designated Doctors on impairment ratings since 1998. 

Dr. Schmidt has taught courses to MDs, DOs and DCs in Texas to fellow Designated Doctors and in California to Qualified Medical Examiners (QME) that have been sponsored by Tufts University School of Medicine and Texas Chiropractic College.
